This is a plain-language starting policy, not a substitute for review by a lawyer familiar with your jurisdiction — treat it as a draft to have checked before relying on it at scale.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a one-way hash — we never see or store your actual password). As you use the app, we store your study progress: which questions you've answered, your streak, bookmarked cases, and your pass status.

How we use it

Your email is used to identify your account, send you transactional messages (password resets, email verification, billing receipts), and — only if you opt in — an occasional reminder if you've gone quiet on your studying. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Payment information

Pass purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles that directly and shares with us only what's needed to manage your access (plan, status, and expiration date).

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you logged in and to cache your study progress for offline-friendly performance. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can export a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from the Account screen inside the app — deletion removes your account, progress, and billing history immediately and cannot be undone.
